The beautiful hues of Red cedar combine with our Dynell ^tm round up tip and Tough Edge ^tm clear to the shaft, to make a paddle that weighs just 18 oz.  The Voyager meets the needs of the wilderness tripper encountering a wide variety of water conditions. The Sawyer-Glassed^tm blade of the Voyager is strong and durable like all Sawyer paddles, but its molded blade shape offers the needed advantage for sculling or underwater return strokes. Long distance cruising fatigue is reduced with the Voyagers 4" wide palm grip and oval shaft.
