This beautiful book covers most of whitewater runs in the state of Montana and a small number of nearby areas in Idaho. The runs are for intermediate to advanced paddlers, therefore the descriptions aren't fully detailed. Icons at the beginning of each run tell at a glance their individual characters, while "sweet meters" rate them, and tables indicate features & difficulty ratings at various flows rates.
